Can I install TeeGen Studio today?
Not yet. Studio is in private development and testing. Public installation will follow testing and Shopify review. We will link to the real installation flow when it is available.
Do my customers leave my Shopify store?
The planned experience keeps design, product selection and purchase in your storefront, using your Shopify cart and checkout. Customers do not need to visit TeeGen.app. Visible Powered by TeeGen attribution remains in the designer.
Do I need a new theme?
Studio is being built as an app integration for supported existing Shopify themes. An optional TeeGen Studio theme is also planned. We will publish a tested compatibility list; compatibility with every custom theme is not assumed.
Which products can customers customize?
Initial work focuses on T-shirts, hoodies and tank tops. Stock garment previews illustrate artwork placement and approximate colors; they are not exact photographs of every supplier model. Supported variants and production specifications will be confirmed for each fulfillment setup.
Can customers upload their own images?
Yes, image upload and direct placement are part of the Studio scope. Reference-image editing and inspiration workflows are still being integrated and tested. Customers must have the necessary rights to the images they use.
Which print-on-demand suppliers are supported?
There are no publicly approved supplier connections to announce yet. Manual production export is being tested, with supplier connections to be confirmed individually. Installing Studio will not automatically connect an arbitrary supplier.
Does SafeGen guarantee a design is safe to sell?
No. SafeGen provides rights-aware checks within the design workflow. Automated checks can miss issues and are not legal clearance. Merchants and customers remain responsible for the rights to the content they use.
What will Studio cost?
Plans, pricing and a public launch date have not been announced. Early-access inquiries are not purchases or commitments to a paid plan.
